If SE has a successful take over of eidos; few words I gotta say:
REMAKES HERE I COME
bladestar, why would Sony pay to keep a game exclusive? Or else why would they match the offer to prevent a game going to 360? Sony has nothing to gain from doing this? They have other their first and second party studio's to run, also when Sony pays for a game, they buy the IP outright. For example Resistance is funded by Sony, and they own the IP. Insomniac maybe the developers, but sony owns the IP at the end of the day.
I understand these are economic hard times, and ye...
If FF XIII & Versus don't do very well then, SE will announce a remake for FF7 for PS3 & X360 (LOL)
First question I would ask is why would you sue? There is no reason to sue for this. For Example if you did sue MS then few things you have to do. Get an attorney, get him to accept the case (easier nowadays as many attorneys will accept any case), file the case with court. Worrying that your case might be thrown out by the judge. If you win the lawsuit, your attorney takes a chunk of the money won, plus court costs. If you lose you have to pay your attorney fees, and pay for MS attorne...
Ramayan 3392 AD, is the same story as the mythology about Ramayan in Hindu mythology. There are some changes made to the story according to the wikipedia link, but is the same thing.
Ramayan 3392 AD is not worth it. Would like to see in a video game, but the story line is very predictable.
I believe this game was going to require a big budget and to show off in the early stages would make them probably loose interest in the minds of gamers, if the game didn't arrive, so instead announcing the game, they decided to cancel the game, so people would stop talking about the game. and could make this game in secrecy, i think eyepet was just a cover-up, so casuals could get into this game, and sony would secure money to fund this project, as you currently know, sony is losing money on...
IMO this is just a publicity stunt either pulled by Team Bondi or Rockstar. People haven't heard about this game in a long time, and except the trailer since 06 there has been no news on this. I think they are just trying to market this game since no article or video of this game has circulated over the web since the last year. And since the completion of the game is coming to a close, wouldn't they need to put this kind of speculation out, so people are talking about this game. I mean no...
White Knight Chronicles lives! The large-scale PlayStation 3 RPG, first announced way back in 2006, has resurfaced in Japan after nearly a year of silence. According to Weekly Famitsu magazine, Level-5's first PS3 game (titled White Knight Chronicles: The Ancient Pulse in Japan) will be released December 25 overseas; an official US release date has yet to be announced.
Along with this announcement, Famitsu took the opportunity to interview Akihiro Hino, Level-5's president and th...
You should just stop. agreed the games for the ps3 have been less then the 360. Your comment about the ps3 being a non-gaming console is just plain rubbish since they are releasing games, but the developing time to make games have also increased with many developers needing to create new engine to run games on current gen consoles, this is not on the ps3, but 360 as well. Where other developers have licensed engines, but this process also takes time, since the dev has to learn the gimmicks...
FFvs13 has always been more interesting, then FF13. FF13 was recognized more due to the game going multi-platform, and also many little info released regarding ff13 then ffvs13.
these are not the new pics for (FF13 & FF V13). These have been posted previously already. Nothing new for these games. For others am not exactly sure.
These bundles are limited, and only sold to approach consumers who are fans of this, but don't have the bundles or collectors of the game. To ask u a question: how many bundles have MS put out which have unlimited amt?
This game is day 1 for me. But u suggesting 8-10 million copies of R2 is ridiculous. The game will be around 6+ million. & PS3 selling upto 23-25 million, by end of year is still a long shot. For next years its a possibility. I'm not going off any # from NPD or VGChartz. I don't follow numbers, I follow games.
I don't think Sony distributes games for EA, since they are a large publisher, and paying Sony to distribute the game would just hurt their profits. Sony in this matter only gets paid the licensing fee to put the game on their console. I'm not exactly sure if this happened with this game or not
SE should do a remake instead of a sequel! Remake would require more investment, but the returns would be monumental. Also if they want to make a sequel, it wouldn’t be announced for the PS3, but they would announce this for the PSP. From a business perspective this would cost less and they can get more profit. Also if it were a sequel for PS3 this just wouldn’t make sense.
If the remake was announced the sales in PS3 would skyrocket. Also SE could release a special editio...
Well to answer your first question, FFvsXIII was more popular then FF-XIII when both games were unveiled during 2006. But due to the announcement at E3 about FF13 going multi-platform, this news has generated more articles then vs13. Also recently it was stated by Nomura, that work on vs13 has been slowed down so no decision has been made on that game as of yet. SE is currently saying this game is exclusive to ps3, but depending on how sales for 13 for xbox goes this game might go to xbox ...
"Hey PS3 fanbabies I think you should make a petition to stop Bioshock coming to the PS3 *rolls eyes* oh wait your used to waiting for games even if it takes a year to port..."
Well MS paid for timed exclusives & do you know the details of the contract between MS & 2K games. In a timed exclusive games its not to be released until the contract is due, or there are penalties, which 2K games have to pay & they don't want MS suing them. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. you state: "doesn't need any of Microsoft's games because they already have their own"
Why does Sony needs to pay to make a game exclusive to Microsoft, to multi-platform? Sony doesn't make money that, instead they're losing money. Instead why not just invest into a different game altogether. MS could have invested money paid to Rockstar to fund an exclusive game on their console (Money paid to R* $50 million reported) This much money can make a new IP
2. Y...
I would choose FF7 over FF13 anyday
They should complete the Greek mythology and focus on a different one.
